Moderate Cervical Dysplasia (CIN II)

Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia II (CIN II) is moderate dysplasia of the squamous cells of the cervix. It is caused by HPV infection is considered a high grade lesion that requires treatment, although for certain situations like pregnancy or women ages 21 to 24, colposcopy with Pap smear/HPV testing at 6 month intervals may be warranted.
